The combined US troop deployments in Iraq and Afghanistan have now reached a higher level than existed at any time under the presidency of George W. Bush. This surge past the record set by its predecessor marks another grim milestone in the Obama administration’s escalation of American militarism.
In addition to the 21,000 US soldiers and Marines that Obama ordered deployed to Afghanistan as part of the escalation he unveiled last March, another 13,000 “support” troops are being quietly sent to the country with no official announcement, the Washington Post reported Tuesday.
This stealth buildup is a replay of the methods used by the Bush administration in its Iraq surge, when it announced the deployment of an additional 20,000 combat troops while saying nothing about the 8,000 support troops sent with them.
In neither case was the failure to declare the full number an oversight. Obama, like Bush before him, recognizes that the military interventions he oversees are deeply unpopular with the majority of the American people.
There is concrete evidence available today that reveals that HAARP is being used to create earthquakes and massive flooding in foreign states as well as in the United States itself. Scientific data from HAARP’s own website gives all the evidence we need to prove that HAARP is at present ,fully operational. What this means is that HAARP is being used to selectively modify the climate of a targeted region with the intent to destabilizing the target region’s national economy.
Agricultural systems in both developed and developing countries are already in crisis as a result of US policies including market deregulation, commodity dumping, etc. Amply documented, IMF and World Bank “economic medicine” imposed on the Third World and the countries of the former Soviet block has largely contributed to the destabilization of domestic agriculture. In turn, the provisions of the World Trade Organization (WTO) have supported the interests of a handful of Western agri-biotech conglomerates in their quest to impose genetically modified (GMO) seeds on farmers throughout the World.
It is important to understand the link between the economic, strategic and military processes of the US government. In the above context, climatic manipulations under the HAARP program (whether accidental or deliberate) would inevitably exacerbate these changes by weakening national economies, destroying infrastructure and potentially triggering the bankruptcy of farmers over vast areas.
National governments and the United Nations must now insist that the use of HAARP by any nation (including the United States) be banned. http://presscore.ca/2011/?p=2609

I woke up at 2:30am to idiot Amerikans chanting “USA USA USA”!!!!! No they weren’t outside my window (thank God!) but close enough to home. I had fallen asleep watching a tivoed show from Animal Planet and the tv flipped back to CBS when it ended. It was a clip of the fans from Philly at the ballgame against the Mets last night that were doing the shouting. I feel sick
